Christmas Update, 2008-12-31
After failing to qualify in the first World Cup of the season in Levi, Finland, Trevor regained his confidence winning the first Noram of the season in Colorado. Having raced 2 Europa Cups in Italy and completing the first third of the season, Trevor has returned home for a week at home with friends and family for the holidays. "Its always nice to be able to come home, even though its short lived. Nothing beats your own bed and a home cooked meal." Trevor now leaves to Maine for 2 Noram Slaloms and then to Wengen, Switzerland for his next World cup start.

Hintertux, Austria, 2008-10-17
" The glaciers in Austria are one of the few consistent places to ski this time of year. We have had perfect weather and phenomenal training." Trevor returns home in a week to rest and prepare physically before the first World Cup SL in November.

Queenstown, New Zealand, 2008-09-12
Trevor is currently at his second on snow camp of the off season at Coronet Peak in Queenstown, New Zealand. He will be training for 2 weeks before returning home for a week and heading to Europe for his final camp before the beginning of the season. " New Zealand is a lovely place with no shortage of things to do, which makes the time not spent on snow enjoyable. Skiing is going well, spring conditions as the southern winter is nearing its end, but we have managed to have some great training."

Ushuaia, Argentina, 2008-08-19
After spending the months of April and May rehabing his knee, Trevor returned to the gym with the team. In the following 2 and a half months he has undergone countless hours (some 7 hour days) in the weight room preparing for this next season. He is currently in Argentina for his first of 3 on snow camps throughout the summer and fall preparing him for the upcoming competitive season. " The skiing here has been great. The weather has been inconsistent but we have managed some great training. The coaches have water injected the hill so we have been able to mimic World Cup conditions down here and get on some challenging terrain." Trevor is down there for 3 weeks before returning home for a week and then heading to New Zealand for his next on snow camp.

Calgary, Alberta, 2008-04-01
After finishing 4th in the points in a close race for the North American title, Trevor has returned home to undergo surgery on his left knee that he had repaired a year and a half ago. " After tweaking my knee in the fall I missed the first half of the season. I didnt feel comfortable missing any further races so I skied through a lot of pain and managed my program accordingly." Trevor only had 14 starts last season, where many of his fellow competitors had upwards of 40. " I could only ski one event, and had to minimize how much time I spent on snow. Moreover much of that time on snow was spent skiing through pain." The goal of this surgery is to increase the range of motion in his knee and see where much of his pain is coming from, hopefully leading to a healthier season next year.
